AI Audit Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute and oversee audit procedures directly, encompassing planning, execution, and documentation.

• Assess and verify AI-generated audit processes, workpapers, and documentation.

• Detect gaps, errors, inconsistencies, and edge cases in AI-generated audit results.

• Create quality review frameworks, checklists, and methodologies for AI-supported audits.

• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to enhance AI accuracy, reliability, and audit awareness.

• Convert hands-on audit experience into actionable feedback that influences product decisions and AI workflows.

• Keep abreast of professional standards (GAAS, PCAOB, IAASB) and ensure all outputs adhere to compliance requirements.

• Document best practices and contribute to the development of internal knowledge repositories.

• Establish ongoing feedback mechanisms that enhance AI performance over time.

• Interact directly with clients regarding audit methodology inquiries and assist in interpreting AI-generated content.

• Manage client relationships and timelines, ensuring audit deliverables are produced accurately and punctually — coordinating across internal and client teams to maintain engagement progress.

• Be ready to assist in various capacities — client calls, QA, research, workpaper review — to ensure seamless execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of audit experience with a solid grounding in audit methodology.

• Extensive knowledge of audit procedures, workpaper documentation, and relevant standards.

• Comfortable executing audit tasks hands-on while also assessing and enhancing the systems that support them.

• Strong analytical abilities and outstanding attention to detail.

• Proficient in using technology, AI tools, and iterative workflows.

• Excellent written communication and documentation skills.

• Active CPA, CA, or equivalent professional certification.
