AI Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage the MCP server ecosystem within the Bio-Tech / Healthcare enterprise application portfolio.

• Develop production-quality MCP servers using TypeScript and Python, incorporating OAuth 2.0, RBAC, and audit logging.

• Establish tool schemas, versioning standards, and patterns for multi-agent orchestration.

• Integrate MCP servers with various business applications such as SAP, Salesforce, D365, Smartsheet, Jira, Microsoft Graph API, and others based on business requirements.

• Create the tool invocation and RBAC framework for AI virtual employees and internal copilot personas.

• Ensure alignment of architecture with the Bio-Tech / Healthcare AI Security Reference Architecture and compliance with the EU AI Act (effective Aug 2026).

• Maintain a registry for MCP servers and aid in the enablement of the internal Claude AI Launchpad.

• Provide mentorship to AI & Automation Developers regarding MCP patterns and best practices for agentic integration.

⛳️ Requirements

• B.Tech, M.Tech, or PhD from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) — Required, verification will be conducted at the time of offer.

• Over 8 years of experience in software engineering, emphasizing API design, systems integration, or AI platform engineering.

• At least 3 years of direct experience in building MCP servers or similar tool-calling frameworks (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI Function Calling).

• Proficient in TypeScript and Python; adept in designing REST/GraphQL APIs and implementing Node.js asynchronous patterns.

• Extensive understanding of MCP specifications, including tools, resources, prompts, sampling, and transport layers.

• Experience with integrating large language models (LLMs) like Claude and GPT-4 with enterprise systems in agentic or RAG architectures.

• Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, Azure AD, and enterprise SSO/SCIM patterns.
