AI Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain applications, workflows, and automations powered by AI.

• Engage with LLMs, AI agents, RAG pipelines, and agentic frameworks.

• Create full-stack features, encompassing backend services, APIs, and frontend interfaces.

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code and Cursor for rapid prototyping and deployment.

• Maintain production systems by addressing issues, enhancing reliability, and aiding in operational workflows.

• Collaborate with the CTO and engineering team across various time zones.

• Contribute to PRs, releases, technical discussions, and ongoing product enhancements.

• Assist in refining the AI pipeline, focusing on document processing, quality control, and automation logic.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical software engineering experience, preferably with Python and modern web applications.

• Strong knowledge of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent.

• Proven experience in building or integrating applications based on LLMs, AI agents, automations, or RAG systems.

• Familiarity with production software workflows: Git, PRs, debugging, deployment, and maintainable code practices.

• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS; familiarity with GCP is an advantage.

• Proficient in APIs, databases, and both backend and frontend development.

• Capability to work independently, learn swiftly, and adhere to technical guidelines.

• Availability to overlap with U.S. working hours.

• Strong communication skills along with a hands-on, results-oriented approach.

• **Nice to Have**

• Experience with n8n or similar tools for workflow automation.

• Familiarity with MCP, vector databases, or advanced RAG pipelines.

• Understanding of Docker, CI/CD, Kubernetes/EKS, or serverless infrastructure.

• Background in healthcare, legaltech, HIPAA, or other regulated/data-sensitive fields.

• Portfolio, GitHub, or examples showcasing delivered AI/agentic applications.
