AI Application Builder – Master-Level Internship

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop responsive web applications, internal tools, and landing pages primarily using AI coding tools such as Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, or v0.

• Convert written briefs, feature requests, and client roadmaps into functional, deployable software.

• Prompt iteratively and enhance AI-generated outputs to align with functional and design specifications.

• Review, test, and debug AI-generated code to ensure it is accurate, secure, and maintainable — not just operational for a single instance.

• Integrate front-end developments with back-end systems, agents, and retrieval services created by the Applied AI and Integration engineers, ensuring seamless data and AI feature flow.

• Identify when vibecoding is appropriate and when a problem requires hand-written code or assistance from a teammate, and escalate as needed.

• Deploy applications, collect feedback, and iterate rapidly.

• Document your work in Notion to facilitate knowledge transfer to others.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a Master’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline. Enrollment or completion of a Master’s program is essential.

• Proven, hands-on experience in application development using at least one significant AI coding tool (Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit Agent, GitHub Copilot, or similar) — ideally demonstrated through a portfolio, GitHub, or live demo links.

• Strong prompting abilities: the capacity to deconstruct a build into clear steps and guide an AI tool toward a successful outcome.

• Sufficient foundational coding literacy (JavaScript / React, HTML, CSS) to read, assess, and correct AI-generated outputs.

• Familiarity with Git and basic deployment processes.

• A tendency towards execution: you prefer creating a working prototype over drafting an extensive document.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills within a cross-functional team context. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
