AI Agent Engineer – Coding Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Designing and taking responsibility for our agent harness layer

• Constructing long-horizon agentic workflows that ensure maximum autonomy

• Developing robust evaluation and quality processes, which include evaluation harnesses, regression testing, and failure taxonomies

• Formulating model strategies involving routing, benchmarking, reliability, and cost/latency optimization

• Creating debuggable agent systems equipped with tracing, metrics, alerts, and observability

• Investigating innovative approaches and implementing them into production

⛳️ Requirements

• You have experience in developing agentic systems — including tool use, orchestration, retry/repair loops, and context management

• Familiarity with distributed or real-time systems

• A research-and-ship mindset: you view open-ended problems as opportunities for experimentation

• Strong foundation in software engineering, with proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript

• Proven history of shipping and managing production systems

• Experience in owning complex problems from start to finish

• Solid product instincts: you can convert user experience objectives into system design choices
