This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Expand the network of business partners for Old Republic Title across Maryland and the District of Columbia.
• Oversee selected existing title agency partnerships.
• Foster new business relationships and enhance market visibility.
• Engage proactively with potential partners through office visits, networking events, industry associations, and various outreach initiatives.
• Build a new customer base of agents through marketing efforts.
• Formulate strategies to retain current agents and boost their business and wallet share.
• Strengthen Old Republic Title’s presence in the market.
• Address agent service issues promptly and effectively.
• Work in conjunction with management to meet profitability and market share goals.
• Contribute to the development of innovative products and services for customers.
• Participate in the state land title association and other trade organizations.
• Stay informed about title insurance matters impacting state operations.
• Maintain awareness of company offerings and those of competitors.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Complete mandatory company compliance training within the assigned timeframes.
• Candidates must be residents of Maryland.
• Willingness to travel throughout Maryland.
• Previous experience in sales, business development, financial services, real estate, customer relations, or other relationship-oriented roles is encouraged.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, decision-making, and leadership abilities.
• Valid driver's license, adequate insurance, and a clean driving record, free from significant traffic violations and moving violation convictions.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing time constraints and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
• Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work autonomously with sound judgment and take initiative.
• Clear, grammatically correct, and business-appropriate written and verbal communication skills.
• Openness to supervision, direction, and constructive feedback.
• Availability for business entertainment during and after standard business hours as required.
• Some travel for business purposes is necessary.
