Agency Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with both new and existing assigned agents to promote effective risk selection and encourage long-lasting partnerships.

• Drive new premium growth by engaging with new and existing agencies through various communication methods (phone calls, emails, face-to-face meetings, etc.).

• Discover and establish new agency opportunities through targeted prospecting efforts.

• Provide training and continuous support to both new and existing agencies, ensuring they have a clear understanding of systems, products, and underwriting guidelines.

• Act as a subject matter expert on our product offerings and core systems, while keeping abreast of industry trends and the competitive landscape.

• Offer account management support for agencies and ensure accurate documentation of agency interactions using Salesforce.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure coherent and effective communication with agencies.

• Actively monitor key performance metrics and pinpoint opportunities for improvement or additional training.

• Consistently meet or surpass individual or team objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid P&C insurance license (2-20).

• A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in the Property & Casualty industry.

• Openness and ability to travel frequently for in-person agency visits within the designated territory, including overnight stays when required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, such as Salesforce.

• Strong knowledge of Salesforce CRM (preferred).

• 5+ years of experience in P&C (preferred).

• Experience in Personal Lines Excess & Surplus is a plus (preferred).

• Background in account management or outside field sales is preferred.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
