Africa Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kenya.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance opportunities

• Assist in determining where LaMP should engage and the rationale behind it

• Identify promising labor mobility prospects across various countries, corridors, and sectors

• Transform early-stage ideas into tangible and scalable program concepts

• Progress opportunities from initial discussions to actionable next steps

• Build relationships that enable work

• Establish partnerships with employers, recruiters, training providers, industry stakeholders, and ecosystem organizations

• Nurture connections with government stakeholders to promote emerging partnerships and policy initiatives

• Aid in fundraising and partnership development

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in achieving results against ambitious plans on the African continent

• Demonstrated success in previous roles where collaboration with diverse stakeholders was essential

• Expertise in strategy development, program design, and project management and execution

• Exceptional communication skills and a strong external presence

• Ability to work autonomously and handle multiple priorities

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time

• Strong integrity and a commitment to providing better job opportunities to individuals on the African continent
