
AFHE Maintenance Technician – Travel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Ensure the upkeep, modification, and installation of Automated Fueling System Equipment (AFHE).
• Effectively allocate time and resources to adhere to project timelines.
• Maintain and monitor maintenance records for management evaluation.
• Structure and deliver high-quality work at client locations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to fulfill project goals.
• Install Industrial Control Systems, including PLC panels, VFDs, and control wiring.
• Diagnose Automation Equipment issues including PLC logic, defective relays, sensors, and motor control challenges.
• Program or adjust Control Systems, including PLC ladder logic and HMI graphics.
• Lift approximately 40 lbs, ascend stairs, and perform physical tasks in diverse environments.
• Requires 100% travel.
• Must be a United States citizen.
• Ability to successfully complete a NACLC security background check.
• In-depth electrical knowledge (often surpassing that of typical electricians).
• Expertise in troubleshooting three-phase and single-phase AC circuits, low-voltage DC control circuits, and various communication protocols including Modbus RTU and TCP/IP.
• Capability to troubleshoot and maintain industrial network infrastructure, including Ethernet and fiber optic networks.
• Experience in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron).
• Proficient in reading, interpreting, and verifying control schematics, wiring diagrams, design drawings, P&IDs, and ladder logic.
• Skilled in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, process calibrators, and instrumentation calibration (pressure, flow, temperature, level).
• Strong grasp of analog and digital technologies.
• Familiarity with NEC code and NFPA 70e, along with mechanical skills (pneumatics, hydraulics).
• Proficient in computer use and Microsoft Windows.
• Preference for candidates with a current government CAC.
• Active or prior security clearance is preferred.
• Experience with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems is advantageous.
