This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Acquire an in-depth understanding of the commission structure and consistently implement it across all affiliate activities.
• Oversee and manage affiliate records within the referral program platform, including tracking upgrade tiers, assigning referral links, and tagging accounts.
• Regularly verify commission calculations for accuracy prior to processing payouts.
• Execute weekly commission payouts promptly and accurately, addressing any discrepancies for resolution.
• Maintain well-organized records of affiliate payments and tax documents in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and distribute year-end 1099 forms to eligible affiliates.
• Act as the primary contact for affiliate inquiries, efficiently managing a high-volume inbox with professionalism, precision, and a consistent standard of responses.
• Serve as the main liaison for the Affiliate department, handling communications and manual requests, and escalating complex cases when necessary.
• Identify trends in affiliate inquiries or issues and proactively present process improvement suggestions to leadership.
• Manage endorsement payouts, ensuring agreements are accurately reflected in payment records and that disbursements are processed on time.
• Track and reconcile endorsement payment terms, deliverables, and payout milestones in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Input and manage endorsement invoices in the AP system, ensuring thorough documentation and precise coding for timely submission across departments and full audit readiness.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain and update the endorsements tracker, ensuring accuracy and completeness for the marketing team's visibility.
• Serve as the operational bridge between the Marketing department and accounting for all endorsement-related payment activities.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 2 years in a front-facing role, ideally in Affiliate operations or Accounts Payable.
• Practical experience with referral program tracking software, such as FirstPromoter.
• Familiarity with global payout platforms and methods.
• A general understanding of Accounts Payable processes, including vendor onboarding and tax documentation.
• Proficiency in working with data in Excel and Google Sheets.
• A customer-first approach complemented by strong written and verbal communication skills.
