Affiliate Instructor – Teacher Education

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The Teacher Education Department is in search of skilled per-course instructors for our master's and certificate programs in elementary and secondary education (undergraduate and graduate), literacy education (Reading Specialist, Literacy Teacher, ESOL), Kodaly Music Education, Montessori, and Curriculum & Instruction for Social Justice.

• Courses may be delivered in face-to-face, hybrid, and fully online formats.

• We are looking for experienced educators who are passionate about teaching and can integrate practical experience with theoretical insights in the field.

• Specific course requirements may change from semester to semester.

• This applicant pool will be utilized ONLY when a position becomes available.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successful applicants must possess a master’s degree or higher in a discipline related to the subject they intend to teach.

• Candidates should have at least 3-5 years of experience as a teacher or educational leader, or equivalent experience in a related area.

• Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level is preferred.

• Familiarity with online education and specific platforms used at Loyola, such as Zoom and Moodle, is also preferred.
