This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct the management process for Aerospace specifications, ensuring that all specifications are thoroughly reviewed, implemented, and kept up to date.

• Evaluate new and updated customer specifications to determine their relevance and consistency with our existing product range.

• Facilitate cross-departmental activities related to specification modifications, product qualifications, and implementation strategies.

• Collaborate closely with R&D teams to identify product compliance requirements and initiate laboratory work requests as necessary.

• Recognize discrepancies between customer specifications and current products, assisting with deviation requests and qualification efforts when needed.

• Foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to address specification inquiries and effectively communicate updates.

• Keep specification records and documentation updated within SAP and SharePoint systems, ensuring they remain accurate and compliant at all times.

• Oversee the rollout of specification changes across various functions, including Quality, Planning, Customer Service, and Product Management.

• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing specification management processes and systems.

• Ensure adherence to customer, regulatory, and industry standards, including ISO, ASTM, and SAE requirements.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.

• Prior experience in technical sales, product management, R&D, quality systems, or specifications management.

• Background in regulated sectors, with experience in Aerospace being a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of interpreting complex technical specifications and documentation.

• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint tools.

• Excellent project management and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple priorities at once.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a proven track record of effective collaboration across cross-functional teams.

• A meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
