Advisor, Full Stack/UI Developer – Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead technical teams and oversee workstreams as you design, develop, test, and implement intricate database application software that includes server, client, and web components.

• Ensure team cohesion by managing relationships between application architects and developers to guarantee that design specifications result in adaptable, reusable system components.

• Enhance client satisfaction by producing intricate design, coding, and testing documentation that delivers specialized technical products tailored to meet actual needs.

• Excel as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in development, domain, application design, and database methodologies and best practices.

• Demonstrate your expertise by offering technical consulting on highly complex projects, refining existing applications, and designing new application modules and components for clients.

• Utilize your skills to mentor and guide junior application designers.

• Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.

• Supervise the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring compliance with best practices and timelines.

• Manage change control processes and facilitate the seamless implementation of system updates.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define solutions, and ensure alignment with business goals.

• Perform critical analysis and problem-solving to tackle complex technical and functional challenges.

• Propel continuous improvement in release cadence and operational efficiency.

• Contribute to strategic planning and the development of roadmaps for technical initiatives.

• Enhance our capabilities by designing, developing, installing, testing, and documenting application software, including server, client, and web components.

• Play a crucial role in the design, documentation, and delivery of technical architecture solution elements.

• Facilitate coordination between application architects and developers to ensure design requirements are precise and deliver the expected return on investment for clients.

• Define and develop project requirements, functional specifications, and detailed application solution designs for clients.

• Pay attention to the details as you create technical documentation and test plans to support integration and deployment.

• Advance key objectives for Gainwell and our clients by collaborating closely with software developers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 9 years of experience in Application Development in Lead Technical roles.

• Proficiency in Java, JSF, JEE, Hibernate, Spring, SQL, Oracle, and Web services.

• Experience in web development utilizing J2EE technologies.

• Full stack development experience with user interface (UI) exposure.

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented concepts and patterns.

• Familiarity with JSF 1.x, MyFaces Tomahawk, JSP - supported by JSF 1.x.

• Knowledge of Spring, Hibernate, JSF, RDB, Webservices (SOAP, REST), IDE, and Versioning Suite.

• Experience in client-facing roles and performing requirements analysis.

• Subject Matter Expert in Managed Care, Member Management, and Eligibility Verification.

• Extensive experience in Pennsylvania (PA), Provider Application Systems (PAS), and Provider domains.

• Experience with Application Servers, preferably WebLogic.

• Proficient in Eclipse or other Integrated Development Environments (IDEs).

• Familiarity with GitLab and GitHub.

• Strong technical writing skills, including the ability to create Requirements/Design Documents and other technical documentation.

• Analysis skills in UI (Requirements gathering, Design, etc.).

• Experience with Linux.

• Knowledge of AWS services (EC2 Instances, Lambda Functions, S3, Amazon RDS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS IAM, AWS CodePipeline).

• Familiarity with AWS Best Practices and Cloud-Centric application development.

• Experience with serverless architectures, including serverless services, event-driven architecture, microservices, and microservice orchestration.
