This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Oversee the regular daily, weekly, and monthly product pricing operations.
• Cross-train and ensure personal operational readiness across the entire suite of team responsibilities.
• Address ad hoc requests and engage in problem-solving activities.
• Provide assistance with pricing inquiries and customer pricing setups.
• Work on the integration of new technologies and strategies.
• Utilize, review, and revise standard operating procedure documents.
• Function both independently to complete tasks and collaboratively as part of a team to address gaps and solve issues.
• Transition quickly between diverse tasks.
• Avoid settling for “good enough” and embrace continuous improvement alongside the frequent changes that come with that team mentality.
• Aim to work more efficiently, prioritizing smart strategies over hard work.
• Maintain a strong focus on detail while keeping the broader context in mind, recognizing how individual processes and solutions fit into the overall strategy.
• Pursue more than just a basic understanding, taking the opportunity to become a subject matter expert.
• Build extensive knowledge by gaining a deep understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to generate significant positive sales and margin impacts for Cardinal Health.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively across functions such as IT, Marketing, and Finance to improve or clarify existing processes, or to design and implement new systems and tools that leverage critical pricing insights.
• Investigate root causes of various issues and develop solutions, whether they arise unexpectedly as an ad hoc request or are planned in advance as part of a scheduled project.
• Cross-train and maintain proficiency on the entire range of team tasks.
• Perform to high standards in a transparent environment, taking accountability for contributions to the team.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience, is preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
• Proficient in working efficiently with large datasets and analytics software.
• Experience with pricing strategies, processes, systems and controls, customer deal economics, and financial modeling techniques is preferred.
• Familiarity with extracting, manipulating, and preparing data from various internal and external sources to develop and execute pricing strategies is preferred.
• Knowledge of the generic pharmaceutical industry is advantageous.
• Possess a driven, intellectually curious mindset, committed to uncovering insights to enhance value-driven operations.
• Willingness to learn, ask numerous questions, and challenge the status quo.
• Ability to take responsibility and adapt as necessary to achieve KPI targets.
