This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Critical Care Advanced Practitioner Provider (APP) is a licensed and board-certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) who delivers advanced, comprehensive care to critically ill and medically complex patients in the intensive care unit (ICU).
• The APP operates both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, employing critical thinking, evidence-based practices, and procedural expertise to provide high-quality patient care.
• This position necessitates strong clinical abilities, effective communication skills, and the capability to manage intricate medical conditions in a dynamic environment.
• Candidates must be a board-certified and licensed: Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP), Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP), or Physician Assistant/Associate (PA).
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are required.
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a critical care environment as an NP, PA, or ICU RN is preferred.
• A robust understanding of critical care medicine, including fluid resuscitation, vasopressor management, hemodynamic monitoring, and mechanical ventilation is essential.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to synthesize and analyze complex patient data are necessary.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team are required.
• Proficiency in procedural skills relevant to critical care is expected.
• The ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team is crucial.
