Advanced MCE Wind Technician – All Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as a lead team member to oversee and support on-site field operations.

• Emphasize Safety, Quality, and Efficiency in all tasks.

• Execute repairs and diagnostics on medium and major components while up-tower.

• Guide team members by facilitating lifting operations of equipment at heights exceeding 250 feet.

• Manage lifting operations following the verification of skills for large components.

• Carry out safe and efficient repairs on all Wind Turbine electrical systems.

• Implement Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures on equipment as an Authorized Person.

• Conduct pre-task planning, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and Risk Assessments (RAs).

• Engage with vendors and customers in a courteous and professional manner.

• Accurately document all work in various electronic formats.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant product experience on one or more platforms.

• Direct experience with turbines is mandatory.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics from different Wind Turbine manufacturers.

• Experience with Main Component Exchange (MCE) is essential, along with additional knowledge of lifting operations.

• Must possess specific turbine manufacturer certifications.

• In-depth knowledge and skills in generators, converters, controllers, and electrical equipment are required.

• Ability to identify potential issues and significant faults.
