This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Guide team members by facilitating lifting operations of equipment at heights exceeding 250 feet.
• Supervise lifting activities following skills verification for large components, along with the ability to formulate, assess, modify, and finalize lifting plans.
• Execute safe and effective repairs on all Wind Turbine electrical systems.
• Carry out Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures on equipment as an Authorized Person.
• Perform pre-task planning, Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs), Risk Assessments (RAs), and conduct daily safety meetings.
• Engage with vendors and customers in a professional manner.
• Accurately document all work using various electronic formats and provide insights to the Safety and Quality department for organizational improvements.
• A minimum of 5 years of direct experience with Vestas, Acciona, or Gamesa platforms is required.
• Specific turbine experience is mandatory.
• Capability to read and interpret schematics from different Wind Turbine manufacturers.
• Experience with Main Component Exchange (MCE) is essential, along with additional knowledge in lifting operations.
• Must possess specific turbine manufacturer certifications.
• Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in generators, converters, controllers, and electrical equipment are necessary.
• Ability to identify potential issues and significant faults.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English is required to safely execute job duties, interpret technical instructions, and communicate effectively with team members and customers.
