Advanced Industrial Engineering Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Define the future landscape of operations by creating scalable, efficient, and resilient manufacturing systems.

• Oversee a team that supports projects from inception to completion.

• Design and enhance comprehensive manufacturing and operational processes.

• Direct advanced time studies, line balancing, capacity modeling, and initiatives for throughput optimization.

• Develop standard operating procedures, labor models, and ergonomic solutions.

• Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints methodologies to pinpoint and eradicate operational waste.

• Construct and maintain simulation, flow, and capacity models.

• Generate cost models, conduct make-vs-buy analyses, and provide ROI justifications.

• Impact product design through Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA), tolerance analysis, error-proofing, and assembly feasibility assessments.

• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) industrialization efforts, which encompass production layouts, material flow, and ramp-up strategies.

• Propel continuous improvement via Kaizen events, KPI development, and cross-functional leadership.

• Execute additional related tasks as necessary and assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 7+ years of experience in Industrial or Operations Engineering.

• Willingness to travel to Excellerate locations as required, up to 25% annually.

• Availability to work between 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday to Friday.

• Flexibility in scheduling is required.
