This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Single Sign-On (SSO) services within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) services portfolio.
• Comprehend the service from business, end-user, and technical viewpoints.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of the service, including its functionalities and appropriate applications.
• Implement proof-of-concepts under the guidance of the Senior Identity Architect and Service Manager.
• Complete designated projects and tasks within established timelines.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and project/program teams to gather their needs and develop solutions based on best practices.
• Ensure adequate oversight for quality assurance of IAM artifacts.
• Uphold compliance with architectural standards and principles.
• Actively provide insights regarding IAM engineering methodologies, standards, and leadership on projects.
• Reduce technical exposure and risks associated with projects.
• Deliver and manage a highly available, stable, and secure Directory Services environment.
• Provide solutions that fulfill both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Create design documentation packages.
• Develop, test, and deploy code packages.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of activities.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in a computer-related discipline such as Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
• Over 5 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (SSO, LDAP).
• Familiarity with identity provider technologies like Ping Federate, Okta, Azure AD, etc.
• Proficient in SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
• Understanding of encryption, certificates, and digital signatures.
• Experience in developing Java web applications (J2EE).
• Proficient in web development using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery, Bootstrap, etc.
• Experience in SQL database design and optimization, including query performance.
• Strong technical design and development skills.
• Excellent analytical and technical problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with various techniques for gathering requirements.
• Knowledge and experience with IT/development methodologies and life cycles.
• Experience in building and supporting solutions for mission-critical, distributed applications.
• Exposure to infrastructure and application security technologies and strategies.
• Experience with directory services such as LDAP and Active Directory.
• Understanding of cloud concepts and design principles.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
