This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead structured, time-sensitive deployment engagements concentrating on Data Protection from initiation to handoff.
• Facilitate on-site workshops with customer IT, security, and data governance teams to outline policy needs.
• Collaborate with our Customer Success Managers (CSM) and Deployment specialists to configure Island Enterprise Platform environments, particularly focusing on DLP (Data Loss Prevention), web filtering, AI protection, data lineage/visibility, and endpoint policy management.
• Identify and eliminate technical and organizational governance obstacles in real-time.
• Provide a comprehensive, documented handoff that equips customers to independently manage their data security.
• Design, enhance, and document the Island Deployment Framework concerning data governance.
• Create specialized workshop guides and materials for customers regarding Data Protection configurations.
• Develop a repository of reusable deployment artifacts, including DLP configuration playbooks and best-practice documentation.
• Capture insights from each engagement to refine the overall data governance methodology.
• Develop and enhance standardized engagement frameworks, templates, and methodologies for Catalyst Data Protection programs.
• Create reusable governance artifacts—customer guides, assessment frameworks, and configuration templates— for both internal and external use.
• Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to ensure customer feedback informs ongoing improvements to policies and platform capabilities.
• Work closely with Customer Success Managers, Solution Architects, and Security Engineers to guarantee a smooth customer experience.
• Report adoption metrics, milestones, and obstacles to executive stakeholders at both Island and customer organizations.
• Contribute to the advancement of Island’s Data Protection & Governance Center of Excellence.
• 3–10 years of experience in implementation consulting, solutions engineering, or a technical customer-facing position.
• Practical experience in developing and deploying Data Protection and Data Governance initiatives in enterprise settings.
• Extensive knowledge of enterprise security concepts, including DLP, zero trust, and endpoint policy management.
• Strong technical background with enterprise identity (Entra ID, Okta), SSO/SAML/SCIM, and browser environments.
• Familiarity with AI topics, experience leveraging AI to execute tasks, and using AI for modernizing data protection and governance.
• Proven ability to facilitate workshops and influence decision-making among senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills to simplify complex data security requirements into clear directives.
• Willingness and capability to travel (30–60%) for on-site customer engagements.
