This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Engage in extensive phone conversations with prospective students and applicants throughout the day.
• Ensure that applicants feel supported, informed, and enthusiastic about progressing to the next step.
• Oversee admissions email interactions, including managing the admissions inbox.
• Assist applicants during calls, homework assignments, reference checks, interviews, and enrollment processes.
• Maintain accurate records of applicant statuses, notes, and follow-up actions in the internal admissions system.
• Document and relay clinical site details, including applicant location, employer/site relationship, and contact information.
• Collaborate with the clinical site team when an applicant's site situation requires review or additional follow-up.
• Initiate or trigger appropriate communications for applicants through the admissions platform.
• Identify and report exceptions, blockers, or unique applicant circumstances to the appropriate internal team member.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing position such as inbound sales representative, sales coordinator, account manager, or account executive.
• Strong phone presence: warm, articulate, self-assured, patient, and persuasive without being overbearing.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (C2+).
• Outgoing personality with a willingness to spend the majority of the workday on applicant calls and follow-ups.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience with CRM systems (PipeDrive is advantageous), Google Suite (especially Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Drive), and AI tools.
• Familiarity with additional tools such as Asana and Slack is a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher (summa, magna cum laude and/or Academic Scholar from a reputable institution preferred).
