Admissions Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact for potential clients, their families, and referral sources through phone, email, and other communication methods.

• Assist clients and families throughout every stage of the admissions process with empathy, professionalism, urgency, and responsiveness.

• Engage with clients using a compassionate, relational, and consultative approach to foster progress through the admissions process.

• Perform a pre-admission screening and communicate the recommended level of care as assessed by a clinical team member.

• Achieve conversion rates and registration goals by customizing communication to align with client needs and their stage of change.

• Provide precise and accurate information regarding treatment programs, admissions procedures, and expectations.

• Help meet organizational census objectives by ensuring timely and appropriate admissions across various levels of care.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3+ years of experience in healthcare admissions, intake coordination, customer service, patient access, behavioral health, or a similar client-facing role is required.

• Experience in behavioral health, eating disorder treatment, healthcare sales, or high-volume call center settings is preferred.

• Sales or customer service experience is preferred.

• Direct experience working with clients, families, or patients in emotionally sensitive circumstances is strongly preferred.

• Experience in managing multiple priorities and workflows in a fast-paced environment is preferred.

• Familiarity with insurance verification, healthcare scheduling, or admissions processes is preferred.
