This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Act as an admissions specialist, providing guidance to students on suitable CIEE programs that align with their academic aspirations, objectives, and eligibility criteria.
• Deliver hands-on assistance to students throughout the initiation, completion, and submission phases of their CIEE applications.
• Offer tailored support to each student.
• Manage a high volume of communications (including emails and calls) and ensure responses to inquiries within one business day.
• Schedule timely follow-ups with prospective students to offer support, assess their commitment levels, and implement strategies to educate students about CIEE programs during all stages of the inquiry and application process.
• Organize and conduct information sessions, webinars, tabling events, and classroom presentations to increase awareness of CIEE programs.
• Assist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of CIEE Student Ambassadors on campus.
• Collaborate with the Manager of Institutional Relations to shape outreach strategies and activities aimed at generating and converting applications for CIEE Study Abroad programs.
• Partner with Institutional Relations Managers to ensure alignment with the goals of partner institutions and provide valuable insights from the field.
• Meet personal and team qualitative and quantitative objectives (such as completed applications and conversion rates) established by leadership.
• Record call details and enter data into the organizational CRM (Salesforce) to facilitate seamless communication and progress monitoring.
• Engage in regular training sessions to remain updated on CIEE program offerings, policies, and tools.
• A bachelor's degree or its international equivalent.
• Experience in student advising, customer service, higher education, or a sales-driven environment.
• Strong preference for candidates with study abroad experience.
• High energy, positive attitude, proactive approach, team-oriented mindset, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities; comfortable delivering presentations to groups and providing one-on-one support.
• Keen attention to detail, exemplary problem-solving skills, professional written and verbal communication, a service-oriented mindset, high organizational aptitude, excellent time management abilities, and the capacity to multitask.
• Ability to work independently and remotely while being part of a team.
• Display initiative while being receptive to feedback and direction when necessary.
• Proficiency in everyday computer usage, including the Microsoft Office Suite, and a willingness to leverage technology to enhance performance.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
