This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Act as an admissions specialist, providing guidance to students on suitable CIEE programs in line with their academic aspirations, objectives, and qualifications.
• Assist students throughout the process of starting, completing, and submitting their CIEE applications with practical support.
• Deliver personalized assistance to each student.
• Handle a significant volume of communication (both emails and phone calls) and ensure responses to inquiries are made within one business day.
• Arrange timely follow-ups with prospective students to offer support, assess their commitment level, and implement strategies to inform them about CIEE programs throughout the inquiry and application stages.
• Coordinate and conduct informational sessions, webinars, tabling events, and classroom presentations to enhance awareness of CIEE programs.
• Aid in the recruitment, training, and oversight of CIEE Student Ambassadors on campus.
• Collaborate with the Manager of Institutional Relations to direct outreach initiatives and activities aimed at generating and converting applications for CIEE Study Abroad programs.
• Work alongside Institutional Relations Managers to ensure alignment with partner institution objectives and provide valuable insights from the field.
• Meet personal and team qualitative and quantitative goals (e.g., completed applications and their conversion) established by leadership.
• Record call details and input data into the organization’s CRM (Salesforce) for effective communication and progress monitoring.
• Engage in regular training sessions to remain informed about CIEE program offerings, policies, and tools.
• A Bachelor's degree or its international equivalent.
• Background in student advising, customer service, higher education, or a sales-related field.
• Prior study abroad experience is highly preferred.
• Energetic, positive, proactive, team-oriented, and a problem-solver.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable delivering presentations to groups and engaging one-on-one.
• Strong attention to detail, outstanding problem-solving abilities, professional written and verbal communication skills, a service-oriented approach, high organizational aptitude, excellent time management capabilities, and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Capability to work independently and remotely while being part of a team.
• Show initiative while remaining receptive to feedback and guidance when necessary.
• Proficiency in everyday computer use, including Microsoft Office Suite, and a willingness to utilize technology to enhance performance.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
