This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Act as an admissions consultant, guiding students in selecting suitable CIEE programs that align with their academic interests, objectives, and eligibility criteria.
• Provide practical assistance to students throughout the initiation, completion, and submission phases of their CIEE applications.
• Deliver personalised support tailored to individual student needs.
• Handle a significant volume of correspondence (emails and phone calls) and ensure responses to inquiries are made within one business day.
• Arrange timely follow-ups with prospective students to offer assistance, assess their commitment levels, and implement strategies to inform students about CIEE programs during all stages of the inquiry and application processes.
• Coordinate and conduct information sessions, webinars, outreach events, and classroom presentations to enhance awareness of CIEE programs.
• Assist in the recruitment, training, and oversight of CIEE Student Ambassadors on campus.
• Collaborate with the Manager of Institutional Relations to shape outreach strategies and activities aimed at generating and converting applications for CIEE Study Abroad programs.
• Work alongside Institutional Relations Managers to ensure alignment with partner institution objectives and provide valuable insights from the field.
• Meet personal and team qualitative and quantitative goals (e.g., completed applications and conversion rates) established by leadership.
• Record call details and input data into the organisational CRM (Salesforce) to facilitate effective communication and progress tracking.
• Engage in regular training sessions to stay updated on CIEE program offerings, policies, and tools.
• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent international qualification.
• Background in student advising, customer service, higher education, or a sales-focused environment.
• Experience studying abroad is highly preferred.
• Energetic, positive, proactive, team-oriented, and adept at problem-solving.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable presenting to groups as well as engaging in one-on-one interactions.
• Strong attention to detail, outstanding problem-solving abilities, professional written and verbal communication skills, a service-oriented mindset, high organisational aptitude, excellent time management skills, and the capability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work independently and remotely while being part of a team.
• Show initiative while remaining receptive to feedback and direction when necessary.
• Proficient in day-to-day computer operations, including the Microsoft Office Suite, with a willingness to leverage technology to enhance performance.
• Flexibility and adaptability within a fast-paced working environment.
