This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• **Responsibilities:**
• *Overseeing and managing the Microsoft-based IT infrastructure, comprising*
• *Windows Server, Windows 11, Entra ID, Active Directory, Intune,*
• *Exchange, and Office 365.*
• *Supervising the deployment, configuration, and support for current and*
• *future migrations related to Microsoft technologies.*
• *Conducting regular updates, backups, and troubleshooting to ensure*
• *the systems operate smoothly and securely.*
• *Administering user roles, permissions, and access controls to uphold a secure*
• *IT environment.*
• *Cooperating with stakeholders to facilitate various projects and initiatives.*
• *Offering technical expertise and ensuring that servers, endpoints, and*
• *Microsoft services are effectively integrated into NCUA’s overall IT*
• *strategy.*
• *Monitoring system performance and resolving any issues that may occur.*
• *Implementing and managing security policies to align with NCUA baselines,*
• *executive directives, and security requirements.*
• *Creating and maintaining documentation for system configurations and*
• *procedures.*
• *Providing technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT personnel.*
• *Engaging in disaster recovery planning and testing.*
• *Ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory*
• *requirements.*
• *Administering software deployments and updates utilizing tools like SCCM and*
• *Intune.*
• *Implementing and sustaining monitoring systems for proactive and*
• *reactive support.*
• *Participating in on-call schedules and patch rotations to guarantee continuous*
• *system availability.*
• *Managing M365 Conditional Access Policies.*
• **Required Skills:**
• *Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.*
• *Seven years of experience in relevant IT areas, including end-user systems support, automated server builds, cloud-based deployments, and data center deployments.*
• *Proven experience in engineering, migration, troubleshooting, and support of the following technologies: Entra ID, Active Directory, Exchange Online O365, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Azure.*
• *Public trust security clearance.*
• **Preferred Skills:**
• *Microsoft (MS) Certified Solutions Associate or similar Microsoft certifications relevant to the technologies mentioned above are preferred.*
• **Soft Skills:**
• **Organizational Skills:** Ability to plan and prioritize work effectively, following tasks to their logical conclusion, ensuring all work meets the highest standards with good attention to detail.
