This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• **Responsibilities:**
• *Overseeing and managing Microsoft-based IT infrastructure, which includes*
• *Windows Server, Windows 11, Entra ID, Active Directory, Intune,*
• *Exchange, and Office 365.*
• *Supervising the deployment, configuration, and support for current and future migrations of Microsoft technologies.*
• *Conducting regular updates, backups, and troubleshooting to ensure systems operate smoothly and securely.*
• *Administering user roles, permissions, and access controls to maintain a secure IT environment.*
• *Collaborating with stakeholders to facilitate various projects and initiatives.*
• *Providing technical expertise to ensure effective integration of servers, endpoints, and Microsoft services into NCUA’s overall IT strategy.*
• *Monitoring system performance and resolving any issues that may arise.*
• *Implementing and managing security policies to meet NCUA baselines, executive directives, and security requirements.*
• *Creating and maintaining documentation for system configurations and procedures.*
• *Offering technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT personnel.*
• *Participating in disaster recovery planning and testing activities.*
• *Ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.*
• *Managing software deployment and updates utilizing tools like SCCM and Intune.*
• *Establishing and maintaining monitoring systems for both proactive and reactive support.*
• *Engaging in on-call schedules and patch rotations to guarantee continuous system availability.*
• *Maintaining M365 Conditional Access Policies.*
• **Required Skills: **
• · *Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.*
• · *Seven years of experience in relevant IT areas, including end-user systems support, automated server builds, cloud-based deployments, and data center deployments.*
• · *Proven experience in engineering, migration, troubleshooting, and support of the following technologies: Entra ID, Active Directory, Exchange Online O365, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Azure.*
• · *Possession of a public trust security clearance.*
• **Preferred Skills**
• · *Microsoft (MS) Certified Solutions Associate or equivalent Microsoft certifications related to the aforementioned technologies are preferred.*
• **Soft Skills:**
• · **Organizational Skills:** Capable of planning and prioritizing work, following tasks to their logical conclusion, and ensuring that everything meets the required standards, with a strong attention to detail.
• · **Team Work:** Able to inspire and maintain project interest, comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, and willing to constructively challenge ideas within a group.
• · **Communications:** Proficient in communicating clearly and effectively with team members and clients, both verbally and in writing; adept at presenting ideas in various ways based on the audience and context; possesses excellent active listening skills.
• · **Quantitative Management:** Skilled in determining process measures and tracking them to assess process effectiveness and efficiency.
• · **Results-oriented:** Able to drive initiatives forward regardless of personal interest in the tasks at hand.
