This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• TEHORA is actively looking for an Oracle Database Administrator to assist in the management, upkeep, development, and optimization of Oracle databases. The ideal candidate may take on urgent assignments within a sophisticated, cloud-focused technological landscape.
• While not an exhaustive list, the services and deliverables expected from the successful candidate include:
• Administering and maintaining Oracle databases;
• Ensuring data security, integrity, availability, and performance;
• Participating in Oracle migration activities, preferably in a Windows setting;
• Collaborating on projects aimed at facilitating cloud migration;
• Documenting physical models and updating tables as necessary;
• Creating installation guides and all pertinent technical documentation;
• Conducting monitoring activities essential for seamless operations;
• Diagnosing incidents, proposing solutions, and supporting IT teams.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience as a systems development or maintenance analyst working with a relational DBMS;
• At least 5 years of experience with Oracle;
• Experience in an Oracle migration in the last 3 years, preferably in a Windows environment;
• Proficiency in administering databases within a cloud environment;
• Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager 13+, partitioning, materialized views, Oracle Grid Infrastructure, ASM, Tuning Pack, Diagnostics Pack, Data Guard, and RMAN;
• Experience with Windows Server environments ranging from 2012 to 2025;
• A degree in computer science or a related field is advantageous;
• Strong command of the French language, both spoken and written.
