This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Manage and maintain Linux servers operating in production environments with high availability.
• Perform advanced hardening and security tasks, including server hardening, access control, regular audits, patch application, and strict compliance with standards.
• Automate processes and repetitive tasks through scripting (Bash/Python) and the use of Infrastructure as Code tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Oversee key services and components of the corporate infrastructure, such as systemd, networking, storage systems, NFS, LDAP/AD, and firewalls.
• Serve as Level 3 support to diagnose and resolve complex issues related to performance, networking, processes, or security breaches.
• Monitor system health using specialized tools like Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms.
• Actively participate in the design, optimization, and continuous improvement of technology architecture and infrastructure.
• Thoroughly document procedures and best practices while closely collaborating with cross-functional teams in development, security, and operations.
• Must reside in Spain.
• Hold Spanish nationality (This is a legal and strictly exclusive requirement to access the facilities and projects of the organization).
• Provide advanced knowledge and demonstrable professional experience in the administration of Linux operating systems (RHEL, CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu, SUSE).
• Show solid and practical experience in system hardening, security, and compliance with international standards (such as CIS, STIG, and industry best practices).
• Master the use of automation and configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or similar platforms.
• Have experience and fluency in creating scripts using Bash and Python.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of networking, corporate firewall configuration, storage systems, and network service management.
• Bring experience in managing virtualization environments (VMware/KVM) and orchestration/deployment of containers (Docker/Podman).
• Be a highly autonomous individual with a focus on resolving critical issues and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a team environment.
• Be fully available to work in a 100% on-site capacity in Madrid (Hipódromo area) and for immediate incorporation.
• Holding the official Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification will be highly valued.
