This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Manage and maintain geographic platforms based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

• Oversee commercial platforms such as ArcGIS Server and Oracle databases.

• Administer open-source software solutions like QGIS, GeoServer, and PostgreSQL/PostGIS.

• Ensure the availability, stability, and performance of the geographic platform.

• Provide technical support and engage in the implementation and continuous improvement of GIS solutions.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects related to geospatial information.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional degree in Systems Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, Geodesy, or related fields.

• Specialization or Master's degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), IT Management, or Project Management.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing GIS platforms.

• Experience in administering ArcGIS Server platforms.

• Knowledge and experience with Oracle.

• Experience with open-source tools such as QGIS, GeoServer, and PostgreSQL/PostGIS.

• Ability to manage and optimize geospatial platforms in enterprise environments.

• Intermediate English proficiency (desirable).
