This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Keep data models, logical and physical structures up to date, ensuring they remain consistent with business rules.

• Ensure the quality of metadata, taking into account its usefulness across various company sectors.

• Participate in the assessment of automation solutions whenever it impacts the production and use of information, monitoring the implementation of models and verifying the quality of database content to ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Define the conceptual, logical, and physical modeling of the information required to meet business needs;

• Create, propose, maintain, and update data models, ensuring data normalization by eliminating or minimizing redundant data, thereby promoting data consistency at the model level for database implementation.

• Establish data access security procedures.

• Redefine data models based on particularities in physical implementation to enhance database performance.

• Identify data distribution needs and collaborate with DBAs in physical implementation.

• Engage in the architecture modeling and deployment of BI & Big Data systems, along with indicators and dashboards to support executive decision-making.

• Design and develop data architecture across the entire technology ecosystem and platform (Relational, Analytical, NoSQL) to support data consumption by BI applications.

• Promote and develop best practices in BI, focusing on results and deliverables to realize benefits, providing consulting, support, and mentoring to various business areas, with recommendations and guidance for continuous improvement and sustaining the established organizational model.

• Participate in the development and updating of data management and governance methodology.

• Assist in specifying integration mechanisms such as services, ETL specifications, database links, and other integration methods via DBMS.

• Create SQL scripts for information validation, report specifications, etc.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or completion of any undergraduate program accompanied by a postgraduate certificate (specialization, master's, or doctorate) in Information Technology, with a minimum of 360 hours.

• Possess at least one certification in the following databases (Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2, SAPASE, SAP-IQ, MySQL).

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in data modeling and integration of large volumes in analytical and transactional environments.

• Knowledge of relational and dimensional modeling.

• Advanced SQL, DDL, DML, DCL skills.

• Platforms: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, MongoDB.

• Modeling tools: PowerDesigner, Erwin, CA-Gen.

• Knowledge of integrations through DBMS, Database Links, and ETL (e.g., Informatica PowerCenter).
