Adjunct, Physical Therapy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Serving as a tutorial leader in an educational setting.

• Instructing undergraduate and/or graduate courses within the designated discipline.

• Preparing and delivering dynamic, student-focused instruction, whether in-person, hybrid, or online as assigned.

• Creating syllabi and course materials that meet departmental standards.

• Evaluating student performance and providing prompt feedback.

• Maintaining consistent communication with students and departmental leadership.

• Adhering to university academic policies and standards of integrity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist.

• A Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or a closely related field is required (Doctorate preferred for graduate-level instruction).

• Proven expertise or professional experience in the subject area is necessary.

• Excellent communication and instructional capabilities are essential.

• A strong commitment to inclusive excellence and fostering student success is required.

• Experience in online teaching is preferred; advanced certification is a plus.

• Previous college-level teaching experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with learning management systems and online teaching platforms is preferred.

• Professional licensure or relevant industry certifications (where applicable) is preferred.

• Experience in engaging with diverse and first-generation student populations is preferred.
