Adjunct Faculty, Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner – AGACNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality instruction for each assigned course in accordance with the approved academic program curriculum.

• Address information requests from institutional and external stakeholders, including employers, organizations, agencies, foundations, the general public, and students in a timely manner.

• Advocate for appropriate standards of linguistic expression in both written and oral communication.

• Ensure that academic program requirements and documentation, such as clinical evaluations and competency documentation, are completed and submitted by established deadlines.

• Fulfill all faculty expectations on a weekly basis.

• Effectively manage classroom activities.

• Maintain reasonable accessibility for students to address questions and provide assistance.

• Stay informed about educational and professional literature to incorporate best practices related to the courses taught.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Nursing Practice degree (DNP) required.

• Certification as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) is necessary.

• Completion of at least 18 hours of directly related graduate coursework is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a bedside AGACNP is required.

• Must possess a TN APRN License.

• Prior successful experience in online teaching is preferred.
