This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide high-quality Neurodevelopmental Assessments for Children with ADHD.
• Adhere to our Safeguarding Policy, including conducting risk assessments when necessary.
• Stay informed about mandatory training, Continuing Professional Development, and the professional registration requirements relevant to your field.
• Contribute ideas for enhancing Paloma’s software tools to ensure assessments are high-quality, safe, and efficient.
• You should be one of the following by profession:
• NMC-registered Nurse
• HCPC Registered Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Arts Therapist, or Practitioner Psychologist (this includes Clinical Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, and Counselling Psychologists)
• Social Work England Registered Social Worker
• Ideally, you should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in conducting Children’s ADHD assessments; however, we will consider candidates with at least 6 months of experience in a relevant assessment pathway. For Clinical Psychologists, this can include pre-graduation experience as part of the 6 months.
• Your experience with children’s ADHD assessments should encompass:
• A solid understanding of typical development across various life stages, co-occurring conditions, and differential diagnoses.
• A comprehensive understanding of normal attention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity levels in typically developing children and adolescents, considering the cultural context of the individual being evaluated.
• The capability to present findings that are client-centered and highlight both strengths and needs.
• Demonstrated proficiency in time management, including effective caseload management, along with strong communication skills with parents and children.
• Successful completion of an enhanced DBS check with barred list review, as you will be working with minors.
• Regular clinical supervision provided.
• One designated day each month for assessor team training, Continuing Professional Development (CPD), and reflection.
• Quarterly development discussions with clear pathways for career progression.
• Well-defined weekly schedules that facilitate a mix of roles across appointments, administration, development, and team building.
