Addiction Counselor – Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Perform intake assessments to assess Member readiness and identify the suitable level of care

• Lead group and individual counseling sessions utilizing Affect’s evidence-based curriculum

• Provide crisis intervention and facilitate appropriate referrals as necessary

• Maintain timely and precise documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system

• Collaborate with clinical supervisors on personalized treatment and discharge planning

• Ensure adherence to HIPAA and all applicable state regulations

• Confirm credentials through the State Board’s website as part of the application procedure

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently licensed in Arizona with an active and verifiable LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LIAC, LACT, or LAAC license; credentials must be confirmed through the State Board’s website

• If residing outside Arizona, maintain an active and verifiable license in the state of residence

• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, EMR systems, and telehealth platforms

• Private, HIPAA-compliant workspace

• Reliable internet connection

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, mission-driven startup environment

• A strong passion for assisting individuals in recovery and fostering therapeutic relationships
