Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, Remote

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Deliver full-time outpatient services via Brave Health's telehealth platform.

• Provide empathetic mental health care utilizing technology to enhance accessibility.

• Offer psychotherapy and clinical services to individuals of all ages.

• Complete around 30 client care hours weekly, averaging six clients daily.

• Evaluate mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Create individualized treatment plans.

• Conduct thorough assessments.

• Collaborate with clients to help them reach their objectives.

• Utilize telehealth software, video conferencing, and internal communication tools.

• Fill out the application questionnaire and proceed with recruiter matching if both parties agree.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree and appropriate licensure.

• Unrestricted eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, both now and in the future.

• Cannot support employment authorization linked to temporary or employer-dependent visa statuses.

• Secure private workspace at home to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations.

• Proficient in English.

• Spanish language skills preferred; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Experience in treatment planning.

• Comfortable with telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Proven experience working collaboratively with clients to achieve their goals.

• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) or equivalent associate therapist/registered intern licensure/credential.
