This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Execute a range of driving services utilizing vehicles according to customer requirements.
• Operate vehicles across established routes, navigating various terrains and weather conditions.
• Adhere to traffic regulations, safety standards, and company driving policies.
• Assess and monitor the performance of ADAS functions during practical driving scenarios.
• Provide and record user-level feedback regarding the usability, effectiveness, and experience of ADAS features.
• Maintain awareness when ADAS features are engaged and intervene when necessary.
• Ensure clear communication with other drivers or operators during vehicle operation.
• Oversee and manage onboard data collection systems.
• Verify the proper functioning of sensors, cameras, and recording equipment.
• Document test runs, conditions, incidents, and observations in real-time.
• Upload, organize, and categorize collected data following established protocols.
• Conduct quality checks on collected data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Identify and report data anomalies or system issues for technical analysis.
• Inspect the vehicle before and after each shift.
• Manage data acquisition systems to guarantee accurate data retrieval.
• Follow instructions from the project manager and complete daily or program-mandated reporting.
• Maintain confidentiality of documentation.
• Assist in data acquisition and apply tagging techniques for objects, obstacles, and anomalies.
• Carry out additional related duties as required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of licensed driving experience.
• Current, valid Driver's License.
• Clean driving record for at least 7 years.
• Experience with ADAS features is highly preferred.
• Practical knowledge of how to activate, deactivate, and operate standard ADAS features.
• Familiarity with typical ADAS user interfaces, controls, and warning indicators.
• Proficient in using computers and data management software.
• Capable of supporting test preparation and execution in outdoor settings.
• Flexible availability with the ability to work extended hours and weekends.
• Compliance with all workplace health and safety regulations and practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Capability to drive passenger vehicles for up to 8 hours a day.
