This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Serve as a representative for ANI’s PCG (Purified Cortrophin Gel) concerning Acute Gouty Arthritis among Primary Care, Family Practice, General Practice, Internal Medicine, Podiatry, and Orthopedic physicians as well as healthcare professionals.
• Propel market development, enhance disease awareness, and implement patient identification strategies within the designated territory.
• Advocate for ANI’s PCG via clinical education and strategic engagement with selected healthcare professionals.
• Develop and execute territory-specific plans aimed at boosting physician awareness, facilitating patient identification, and fostering market growth.
• Provide education to providers and their staff about treatment access, insurance coverage, and documentation requirements.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Patient Support Services, and Medical Affairs to assist with patient onboarding and the initiation of therapy.
• Keep detailed communication logs and follow-up documentation to ensure continuity of care.
• Conduct cold calls and engage with new accounts across Primary Care, Podiatry, and Orthopedics.
• Work in conjunction with cross-functional teams to guarantee logistical readiness and patient support.
• Contribute to the development and expansion of a new commercial footprint within the Acute Care segment.
• Uphold compliance and integrity in all professional interactions.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical and/or medical device sales.
• A solid understanding of patient access, prior authorizations, and appeals processes.
• Knowledge of gout flares, their clinical presentation, and treatment pathways.
• Capability to navigate complex insurance and documentation requirements.
• Experience in coordinating care among multiple stakeholders.
• Strong clinical knowledge coupled with strategic thinking abilities.
• Experience with Primary Care, Podiatry, or Orthopedic practices is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to travel overnight 40–60% based on territorial demands.
• A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• An RN or clinical background is advantageous but not essential for candidates with robust access-driven sales experience.
• Familiarity with specialty distribution and patient support services is a plus.
