Actuarial Intern – Summer 2027, Philadelphia

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• The Philadelphia Health Practice of Milliman is on the lookout for an intern for an actuarial internship scheduled for the Summer of 2027.

• Support our Analysts and Consultants in the development, verification, and application of actuarial models.

• Ensure timely completion of deliverables.

• A fantastic entry-level opportunity into actuarial analysis post-graduation with a focus on the Health sector.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline, with an anticipated graduation date after May 2027.

• Minimum GPA of 3.5.

• Must have successfully completed one or more exams from the Society of Actuaries.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with programming languages (SAS, SQL, VBA, Python, R) is a plus.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Positive attitude and a robust work ethic are essential.

• Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring current or future immigration sponsorship or support from Milliman.
