Acquisitions Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Provide oversight and support for program management within the IA OCFO Acquisition Office.

• Oversee acquisition activities, priorities, and workflows across both regional and central offices.

• Support and maintain the newly developed acquisition tracking portal along with associated Power Platform tools.

• Perform data analysis related to acquisitions and create status reports and dashboards.

• Coordinate task assignments, strategic initiatives, and communication across different bureaus.

• Identify operational challenges, suggest enhancements, and assist with workforce onboarding and certification tracking.

• Leverage new and emerging technologies (such as AI) to pinpoint efficiencies in workflow and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Between 7 to 10 years of experience in federal acquisition program management or procurement oversight in a multi-office setting.

• Proven experience in coordinating strategic initiatives and providing support to leadership across decentralized offices.

• Skilled in Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Power BI.

• Capable of applying technology, automation, and AI/RPA tools to enhance acquisition efficiency.

• Strong data analysis abilities to facilitate decision-making and process improvements.

• Exceptional communication skills with experience working across various bureaus or mission areas.

• Employment is contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug test and a federal security investigation (background check) to secure a U.S. Department of the Interior Public Trust clearance before the start date. The background investigation assesses employment, criminal, financial, and personal histories to ensure no outstanding violations. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens to work in support of a federal agency.
