Acquisition Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the Government client in conducting a review of strategic requirements, developing acquisition strategies, creating Requests for Proposals, and performing other related procurement tasks as necessary.

• Assess requirements documents provided by the Program Office to evaluate their adequacy and sufficiency, offering recommendations as needed.

• Draft solicitations, acquisition plans, source selection plans, and other necessary documents in compliance with regulatory and local guidelines.

• Create and prepare requirements documents (e.g., Performance Work Statements, technical evaluation criteria, performance plans, etc.).

• Prepare modifications for various contractual actions, which may include contracts, purchase/delivery orders, blanket purchase agreements, and indefinite delivery contracts as required.

• Address Freedom of Information Requests and manage Protest actions.

• Provide advice and support to the Government throughout the complete acquisition lifecycle and act as the Subject Matter Expert on all acquisition-related matters.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship with the capability to pass a background investigation.

• A current Public Trust clearance or higher is preferred.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field.

• Proficient in standard office software and applications (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).

• Strong analytical and statistical capabilities.

• Over 8 years of experience in federal contracting, preferably within the Department of Defense.

• DAWIA (Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act) or FAC-C (Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting) level II certification is required.

• Extensive experience with Integrated Contracts Expert (ICE).
