This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Conduct research on payer resources to acquire billing, claim, and payment details.
• Address denied, underpaid, or rejected claims effectively.
• Oversee assigned accounts receivable inventory and related follow-up activities.
• Examine denial trends and pinpoint opportunities for process enhancements.
• Manage aged accounts receivable in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with leadership, payers, and partner teams to resolve denial issues.
• Record account activities and subsequent follow-up actions.
• Achieve set productivity and quality goals.
• Elevate complex reimbursement or denial concerns as necessary.
• Safeguard confidential patient and financial information in line with company policies.
• Adjust to evolving business requirements and priorities.
• High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in accounts receivable, accounting, or a similar domain.
• Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capacity to prioritize tasks and handle multiple competing responsibilities.
• Ability to meet predetermined productivity and quality benchmarks.
• Skill in effective collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgment when managing sensitive data.
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST.
