This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the Service Model by analyzing claims issues, identifying root causes, and providing resolutions.
• Work collaboratively with matrix partners to pinpoint, address, and enhance Accounts Receivable challenges.
• Engage with and influence matrix partners to foster service enhancements and reduce contract interpretation discrepancies.
• Conduct root-cause analysis trending related to Accounts Receivable resolution.
• Lead investigations into system-related problems and determine suitable business operations solutions.
• Oversee escalated issues using the designated workflow tools.
• Present recommendations for service enhancements derived from root-cause analysis.
• Inform and educate internal partners about trends and issues to reduce errors and enhance claim accuracy.
• Evaluate how contract configurations, business policies, and technology impact claim payments.
• Actively participate in meetings as a Claims Subject Matter Expert.
• Offer training on Accounts Receivable processes to internal partners.
• Engage in or lead special project initiatives.
• Meet or surpass Service Level Agreements.
• An Associate's Degree or higher is strongly preferred, or equivalent work experience is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in claims processing is required.
• Over 3 years of experience in claims administration is highly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Proclaim and Facets is required.
• Advanced familiarity with other Cigna claim processing systems is preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of current claims business practices, policies, and procedures.
• Capability to link claim knowledge with technology and claim payment results.
• Proficient in navigating across business units to determine root causes.
• Strong skills in Excel, including basic formulas, VLOOKUPs, filtering, and formatting.
• Time management, task analysis, and resource utilization abilities.
• Insight into how claim outcomes influence provider satisfaction.
• Ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers at all levels.
• Willingness to take ownership of tasks and projects while working with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of the entire claims payment process and its impact on provider satisfaction.
• Access to home internet via cable broadband or fiber optic service with a minimum of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds.
