Accounts Receivable Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Gather all necessary information for creating customer invoices and assemble monthly billing statements.

• Verify the accuracy of data entry in the accounting system to ensure the correctness of final invoices.

• Facilitate revenue collection by sending reminders and following up with clients.

• Investigate and rectify billing discrepancies and issue debit/credit memos when warranted.

• Support 1099 vendor management including onboarding, compliance monitoring, and ongoing communication.

• Input all vendor details into the accounting system.

• Process vendor invoices by validating transaction details, preparing disbursements, and securing payment authorization.

• Collaborate closely with vendors to ensure the timely and accurate receipt of bills.

• Provide general administrative assistance to the accounting department.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.

• 3-5 years of practical Accounting/Finance experience may be accepted in lieu of educational qualifications.

• Strong communication skills are essential (both verbal and written).
