Accounts Receivable Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire accounts receivable process, which includes posting payments, applying payments, generating credit memos, and reconciling discrepancies.

• Analyze and interpret remittance advice from major retail clients such as Walmart, Target, UNFI, and KeHE.

• Access and navigate customer portals to obtain backup documentation and identify any outstanding remittances.

• Initiate and pursue payment inquiries to ensure the timely resolution of outstanding balances.

• Engage professionally with retail customers via email to resolve discrepancies or request further documentation.

• Assist in the implementation of Floret accounting software related to accounts receivable workflows.

• Work closely with internal finance and operations teams to guarantee accurate revenue recognition and smooth month-end closures.

• Maintain and update accounts receivable aging reports while providing regular updates on status and collections.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable.

• MUST have experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.

• Demonstrated experience managing accounts receivable for large retail clients (e.g., Walmart, Target, UNFI, KeHE).

• Proficient in navigating customer portals and interpreting intricate remittance documentation.

• Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.

• Outstanding organizational and communication skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

• Ability to operate independently in a remote setting while managing multiple priorities.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Google Suite.

• Experience using or implementing AR/accounting software like Floret is a plus.
