This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• - **Collections & Aging Management:** Oversee and sustain aged accounts receivable for wholesale retail accounts, ensuring prompt collection efforts and resolution of overdue balances.
• - **Proactive Follow-Up:** Track aging reports and actively follow up on imminent and overdue invoices through phone calls, emails, and written communication while keeping precise records of all account activities, customer interactions, and collection efforts.
• - **Dispute Resolution:** Examine, resolve, and reconcile discrepancies in accounts, invoice disputes, deductions, short payments, and unapplied cash in a timely and professional manner.
• - **Payment Processing:** Accurately process, apply, and reconcile customer payments and credit memos within **Dynamics** and **Acumatica ERP** systems.
• - **Credit Risk Monitoring:** Assess customer credit risk, evaluate payment trends, assist with requests for payment terms, and support credit reviews for both new and existing retail accounts.
• - **Sales Partnership:** Collaborate with sales personnel to manage customer accounts, assess credit limits, impose credit holds on overdue accounts, and balance collection priorities with customer relationship management.
• - **Account Reconciliation:** Conduct account reconciliations and assist retail partners with statement reviews, payment inquiries, and dispute resolutions.
• - **Risk Escalation:** Identify overdue or high-risk accounts and suggest payment arrangements, escalations, third-party collections, or legal options when necessary.
• - **Reporting:** Keep accurate account records and generate reports related to AR aging, account status, collections activity, and significant account updates.
• - **Leadership Engagement:** Engage in weekly meetings with the CFO and Financial Controller to provide updates on critical accounts, collection risks, and overall AR performance.
• - Strong background in accounting (AR focus preferred).
• - Experience with ERP systems (Dynamics and Acumatica a plus).
• - Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• - Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
