This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Accounts Receivable Specialist is tasked with reconciling all incoming payments to those recorded.
• Set up a website for yourself and others to access payment remittances.
• Deliver client-specific instructions regarding payment posting requirements to the Payment Posting Teams.
• Reconcile received payments with posted payments, providing detailed explanations for any transactions that cannot be recorded.
• Determine the underlying cause of any missing remittances and establish best practices to prevent future occurrences.
• Conduct quality audits of payment postings and offer feedback as necessary.
• Address customer inquiries via email and phone in a timely and professional manner.
• Generate and distribute client-specific reports through secure FTP, internal automation, and email transmission.
• Engage in continuous collaboration and support with internal and external teams to ensure client-specific deadlines and accuracy requirements are met or surpassed.
• Coordinate training needs with your direct manager to ensure optimal productivity.
• Maintain a steady focus on enhancing processes within the framework of existing practices and procedures, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Attendance is mandatory (except for unforeseen emergencies) during the first four business days of each month.
• A High School Diploma is required.
• 1-2 years of business office experience related to payment transactions, reconciliation, or payment posting.
• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create accurate and functional spreadsheets.
• A strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism regarding information related to company and/or client operations.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and organized, with the ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and effectively manage projects.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple demands simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
