This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Accurately prepare and issue invoices according to customer contracts and shipment details in a timely manner.
• Monitor accounts for payment activity, ensuring that all payments are received and recorded correctly in the system.
• Follow up on overdue invoices and collaborate with clients to resolve payment discrepancies or issues. Coordinate with the collections team for timely resolution.
• Assist in reconciling customer accounts and identifying any discrepancies or issues, resolving billing discrepancies with customers as necessary.
• Act as the primary contact for customers regarding their account status, payments, and billing inquiries, providing excellent customer service to build positive relationships.
• Regularly review aging reports and assist in identifying and prioritizing overdue accounts, providing updates to the Accounts Receivable Manager on accounts needing special attention.
• Maintain accurate and current customer account information and transaction records.
• Ensure that all payments, adjustments, and credits are accurately entered into the system.
• Assist in preparing reports on accounts receivable performance, aging status, and payment trends for management review.
• Collaborate closely with other departments (e.g., Yield Management, Revenue, and Operations) to resolve billing issues and ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in the transportation, logistics, or supply chain sector.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Strong attention to detail with a capacity to maintain accuracy in financial records.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Positive demeanor with a strong focus on customer service.
