This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Overseeing the complete OTC processes

• Managing customer credit, billing, cash application, collections, as well as dispute and deduction resolution

• Administering customer master data and handling month-end closing and reporting

• Analyzing and approving new customer credit applications

• Evaluating customer creditworthiness

• Preparing credit recommendations and proposals

• Forecasting, setting, reviewing, and updating customer credit limits

• Conducting periodic reviews of existing customer accounts

• Compiling and distributing credit and collections reports

• Generating customer billing data

• Verifying billing accuracy

• Creating and monitoring customer invoices

• Posting accounts receivable entries and associated journals

• Investigating and resolving customer billing inquiries

• Processing customer payments

• Reconciling AR activities and posting AR transactions

• Analyzing overdue account balances

• Monitoring payment compliance

• Identifying, managing, and reporting on default accounts

• Preparing and posting credit and debit memos

• Creating, maintaining, and updating customer master data

• Carrying out monthly AR closing activities

• Preparing AR metrics and management reports

• Assisting with internal and external audits

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable

• Proficiency in German (at least B2 level) and a good command of English is essential

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)

• Expertise in ERP systems (such as Microsoft D365 or similar) and Microsoft Excel

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities

• Strong attention to detail with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and deadlines

• Experience in shared services or multinational environments is preferred
