Accounts Receivable Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Accurately record checks and ACH payments to customer accounts while reconciling postings with total deposits.

• Conduct monthly account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial information.

• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to generate invoices and verify calculations.

• Maintain records of payment histories, invoices, fee allocations, and billing statements.

• Serve as a backup for other essential accounts receivable positions.

• Provide support services for various roles within the Finance department as necessary.

• Identify and rectify billing discrepancies and errors with third-party institutions, clients, and internal team members.

• Utilize professional business communication to offer updates and reports regarding account statuses and issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience in accounts receivable for a high-volume transactional company.

• Proficiency in accounting software.

• Intermediate to expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and lookups.

• Experience with ERP accounting software like Sage Intacct is preferred.

• Strong skills in data entry, analysis, and reconciliation.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to recognize patterns.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong customer service capabilities and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

• Critical and independent thinking skills with effective problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with healthcare-related policies, including HIPAA regulations, is a plus.

• Knowledge of TPA industry best practices is advantageous.
